Using armor all on your leather furniture is a bad idea. It makes the house stinky and the dog slides around on the couch.

Home renovation goodness. Just have to paint a few touch ups. All in all it came out not bad. If you get really close you can see the repair, but its not bad for an amateur.

I redrywalled, and although my drywall skills aren't that great, I have to say, it came out pretty well. I need to texture it tomorrow, let that dry, and then paint. The wall portion will be done then. The next step will be to tile the floor, that should be cake.

Winter makes my white trash genes kick in. The need to destroy things begins to bubble up. I was sitting around saturday looking at the fireplace and thinking about how much i hated it. It was fugly, you know.

Anyways, now I have a pretty large hole in my wall. It looks like they tiled over the metal facing in order to hide the fact that the firebox is sat 3/4" off (that means it is set crooked). Bitches.

They used liquid nail to affix tiles to the facing. I think i can grind that all off and repaint the facing and make it superb. Replacing the drywall should be a snap, and even the basic tiling shouldn't be tough.

I do have no idea how to hide the fact that this thing is sat kaddy-wompus. Maybe some type of metal flashing could be affixed? I suppose that detail will work itself out once I get the drywall back up.

Oh ps.

I'm 30 now. And i had the best birthday ever.
