Here's why I wanted the stripes. My first pass at building shelfs was a disaster. I had to improvise and simplify a bit.

These were a lot easier. I bought some wood, cut it to size, stained it black and then finished it. It hangs from wires so it looks sort of industrial. I like.

Stripes. They're the color of poo, so we call them skid marks.

I need help.

Productive weekend. I got the new living room furniture and finished the closet floors.

The next project is the living. I think I'll paint first. I can't figure out what color to paint. Can a someone help? I photoshopped some samples:

I never, ever, ever, ever, want to strip paint again in my life. I'm down to the last closet but my fingers are swollen and red. I'm ready to wrap this up.
