I am awash in a sea of madness
Today for me is one of those days where you want to keep to yourself and not deal with the madness of others. Alas, dear friends, it wasn't in the cards for me.
1) Boy #1 shows me his latest project. He has written a program which will repeatedly raise the score of his love interest on hotornot.com, raising her score will make her feel better about herself, which improves his chances for "sealing the deal" when she visits for valentines day. I cannot make stuff like this up. An exact quote from the kid, "Yes, I know this is a bit desperate"
2) As we are leaving for lunch the same boy appears and says, "Wait! I asked the receptionist to go with us." Oy vay.
Myself and the other remaining sane coworker exchange a knowing glance that can best be summed up as "Idiot". I have removed him from the circle of trust on the grounds of lunacy.
I am left sitting in the jumbo cube comforted by Iggy Pop & the Stooges, awash in cyncism wondering what mad scheme will next be offered upon me and counting down the hours until i can escape to my dining room where all the world is right.

This is a perversion of the truth to suit your own needs and to make it more humorous. I strongly object.
