nina was a punk rocker at heart

I went people watching at lunch today while basking in the sunlight. As I ate a sandwich, I watched a young lady tie helium balloons to each of her child's wrists. My stomach grew sick with anticipation. I imagined her letting go of the child and seeing him slowly rise up into the sky and drifting away. The mother would franticly chase after him shrieking "Bobby! Bobby! You get down here!".

None of that happened though. So i just finished my sandwich.
