The charcoal, ziplock bag wasp incident.

Growing up in a log cabin, wasps were prevelant. I was stung all the time. Naturally, I now have a deep seeded phobia of flying insects that sting. We currently have a big ass wasp nest being built under the eave of our house.

Yesterday I am sitting in my little room and I hear, thunk, thunk, thunk. "What the hell?", I think to myself. So i got to investigate. My brother (unemployed and bored) is chucking pieces of charcoal at the hive.

At first I laughed, but then it looked like fun. It took about 22 shots (we are unathletic and have bad aim) but then we scored a direct hit, and immediately ran screaming like little bitches into the house. Needless to say, the wasps were pissed.

Unfortunately we only took down half the nest. We decided water balloons were the next logical option to use.....only 1 problem.....no water balloons. Enter the ziploc freezer bags. Filled with water these items quickly transform into wash bashing goodness. It took about 7 wasp balloons, but we finally got 'em.
